Constructed of the flotsam & jetsam of yesteryear ~ a letter organizer, old padlock, square nails, washers & hooks. The head is made of driftwood and the wings are made of a vintage broach. Adorned with beach glass, feathers and buttons, this piece holds a special place in my heart as it was the first piece I made upon the completion of my studio. It represents the universal conflict between freedom and obligation.
